Duplicity: Billed as a "Cool, sexy caper" I figured the new Julia Roberts, Clive Owen film would miss its mark. I thought the story would be heavy on "spy gear" and ridiculous plot twists. I was wrong....I ended up really liking Duplicity. There is virtually no "fancy spy gear" shown, plus the movie does not take its self too seriously. Instead we have a well told story that bounces back to the past numerous times to uncover the relationship between the two leads. They both play corporate spies trying to get insider information for the company's competitor. The story unfolds slowly to give the impression that the subject matter is more important than it really is. However once things become more clear the funnier the film becomes - all the while staying suspenseful. Tom Wilkinson and Paul Giamatti round out the cast of this .......well.......Cool, sexy caper!Pick it Up!
