Waitress: Felicity, I mean Keri Russell, plays a pregnant waitress who has a special talent for making delicious pies. She is stuck in an unhappy marriage and her future looks bleak. This all changes when a new man moves into town. The film has a corky element to it that adds humor and charm. I was very impressed with Russell’s performance, she was both funny and sincere at the same time (difficult to pull off). Bravo to the supporting cast as well, especially Andy Griffith who pops up as the old man no one wants to wait on. The film knew what it wanted to be and did not try to overextend itself – the result was perfect little movie.
